Chris and Hannah’s beautiful lodge wedding photos were captured by the super-talented Deanna McCollum, a Victoria-based photographer.
The couple came all the way from England to get married on Vancouver Island, which had all of the ingredients to create a unique and beautiful wedding day.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say that the Craidelonna Oceanedge Lodge is what caught my eye first. So much pretty! The second thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous bride! Love, love her dress!
From Deanna on the couple and their special day, “ Chris and Hannah came from England with 25 friends and family to celebrate their marriage. They chose Vancouver Island for their wedding after taking an Alaskan cruise that stopped here for a day a few years ago. Chris is fascinated by our whales and loves First Nations art. Their colour and theme was based on a tie Chris found depicting a bear in First Nations style art. They wove the theme throughout their wedding, in their program, decor and even their wedding bands. And the natural beauty of Craidelonna Oceanedge Lodge was the perfect venue for their destination wedding.”
An intimate ceremony at a great venue with close family and friends is the perfect recipe for a great wedding, and Chris and Hannah’s wedding is proof of that.
