This week’s blog round up centers around some beautiful weddings, with some unexpected vintage touches. From a super cute, tea length cap sleeved wedding dress, to a baby’s breath bouquet. They each have their own unique style that hint at vintage without stepping over the edge into outdated.
After their temple ceremony, Robyn and John took some photos on the Balboa Island Ferry. Robyn’s favorite part of the day? “We got chocolate covered strawberries from a farmers stand right before we were about to board the ferry. Neither of us could eat that morning because our nerves got the better of us, but right before we were about to board the ferry, we got chocolate covered strawberries from a farmers stand. John got chocolate all over my face feeding me one of the strawberries. It was such a sweet moment of bliss and chocolate!”
Today’s lovebirds, EmDee + Steven, met through Match.com. He was the first person she talked to, went on a date with, and the reason she decided not to return to Thailand permanently. Too cute! Since most of their guests would be traveling from Thailand, Event Designer, Esther Kim, of My Bride Story, wanted everyone to feel right at home. Inspired by this gold & plum photoshoot, she created a classy love affair, dreamy and romantic in all the right places. Enjoy!
With a breathtaking backyard setting, mason jars overflowing with vibrant purple blooms and paper poms dotting each and every tree, it’s hard not to love every. single. detail of this sweet, handcrafted affair.
We feel that that choosing the location of your bridals plays a significant part in the whole process. Take our next bride who had her portraits snapped in an abandoned house along a dirt road. Sounds a bit odd, but as you will see the results are beautiful.
Sparkly shoes never fail to win me over and when paired with a bubbly bride who pours out her wedding story with such fun, well I can barely resist! This gorgeous Grafton wedding seems just right for today and with the vibrantly colourful and fun reception – it’s packed full of fun, relaxed inspiration!
