It’s Friday! Which means it’s time for our Weekly Wedding Round-Up. Here are five of my favourite links from around the blogosphere.
I saw these and instantly fell in love! I absolutely adore these Save the Date handkerchiefs and I think they are both functional and beautiful gifts (way better than a personalized eraser in my opinion). The little paper kite accents are super cute too! You can find these sweet little gifts online on the Wedding Chicks shop! You will receive 25 lovely hankies customized with your own text.
Join Botany Floral Studio for their weekly Friday Flower special! All cut flowers are 50% off from 3:00PM to 6:00PM this afternoon, so make sure you stop by Botany Flowers for this fantastic deal. Botany Gift Certificates are also available in any amount, and they don’t expire! Let your friends and family pick out flowers, plants, an gifts that they prefer! It would be a perfect and hassle-free gift! If you’re hosting a dinner party of some sort, why not get some gorgeous flowers for this holiday season? Check out their vendor profile on Sash and Satin here!
Kate of Design*Sponge shows us how to make our very own solid perfume pocket watch locket, inspired by artisanal perfumer Mandy Aftel. If you’re looking to make something special for your lady friends this holiday season, I think this would be the perfect gift idea! I love pocket watch necklaces, and it wouldn’t make sense to carry around a huge bottle of perfume in your bag. As Kate explains, the solid scent can be easily applied with no risk of over-dousing. I can’t wait to try this at home! Thanks for a fantastic post, Kate!
This is the coolest thing ever! I’m not close to getting married anytime soon but I would so go here just to taste test all the yummy foods! “Complete with a sit-down dinner, an emotional ceremony and a dance-party reception, The NotWedding has become a killer alternative to a bridal show. The hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the ‘wedding guests’ get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and touch the linens… while enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises.” What a great idea! It’s like the Toronto Underground Market, but for girls! Their website has tons and tons of eye candy too, so be sure to check it out!
That’s all for this week! Be sure to check out our blog every Friday for our Weekly Wedding Blog Round-Up, where we find the best wedding content out there and share them with you!
