Read on to find out more!
Tartelette is a wonderful blog that I have been following for quite some time now. The creative mastermind behind Tartelette is Helene, an amazing food photographer and pastry chef. When I stumbled across this sweet little baking-inspired engagement session, I knew I had to share it with you all! Having only seen her food photography work, I was very excited to see how she would approach an engagement session with her friend, Laura. The photos Helene took really turned out great! My favourite photograph is definitely the ring in the whisk. Please see the full blog post on Tartelette here or visit Helene’s portfolio at www.helenedujardin.com.
Sharon Chironda of Posh Veils shares with us a lovely flower that is sometimes overlooked because of its simplicity, but can look absolutely lovely when it is used in the right places. Sharon explains that Baby’s Breath is budget friendly and there are just so many things you can do with it! Baby’s Breath can be used in bouquets, centrepiece arrangements, boutonnieres, decor, cake decor, or even as a headpiece. Although simple, Baby’s Breath is a chic and highly versatile flower that seems to compliment any colour scheme. Please check out Posh Veils for the full blog post or see the vendor profile here!
MaeMae Paperie is a stationery and paper goods company with a focus on weddings and celebrations. Although located north of Los Angeles in the desert of Lancaster, California, MaeMae works with clients from all over the world (thank goodness for that! Their designs are super cute!). Megan Knight Gonzalez, the head designer and founder, offers completely custom wedding and social stationery. They will be launching a new wedding collection in January 2012, so make sure you check out their newly launched website for the latest news!
Here’s my favourite DIY of the week! Vix from Rock My Wedding shows us how to create these lovely floral headbands! They’re so simple and easy, but they can compliment any look! Vix took a summer dress that she no longer wears and transformed them into these chic little headbands. All you need is some fabric, scissors, needle, cotton, beads, pencil, plain plaited headbands and some mini safety pins! The options are endless. These handmade headbands would make great little gifts for your favourite girls! You can view the full post here.
I was browsing through the interwebs and I stumbled across Simply Bloom Photography’s blog. I checked out some of their weddings and I fell in love with this one! I am a huge fan of all things vintage, food trucks, and excellent stationery design, so as soon as I saw this Atlanta farm wedding, I had to share it with you all. This couple is awesome! Instead of going with a traditional wedding cake, they went with a sweet sundae food truck (which in my opinion is ten times cooler than a regular wedding cake!). Simply Bloom Photography did a wonderful job of capturing Ashley and Kemble’s lovely wedding. Be sure to read the full blog post here to see all the fabulous photographs and details!
That’s all for this week’s wedding blog round up, so be sure to come back next Friday for more! Have a great weekend everyone!
